Shadows of Isildur; Laketown is a family-friendly game and we have players of all ages. As this is an RPI and the game is intended to have characters engage in realistic play it is only natural for characters to fall in love and therein choose to take relationships to the next intimate step. That said, a line exists between role-playing sexual behavior and engaging in lewd behavior that goes against our family-friendly status. While Staff avoid getting into the middle of such sensitive areas of game play, we do have rules and policies to protect our integrity as a community and our players.

This game is not for the sexual gratification of players. If that is your desire as a player, there are games and communities available to you elsewhere; this is not that kind of game or community. We require our players who choose to engage in such intimate aspects of romance to be respectful of one another, be mature, use common sense, good taste and follow the following rules:

• You must obtain OOC consent before any intimate roleplay may occur.

• You may not engage in intimate roleplay anywhere that another PC could find you. Private areas behind locked doors only.

• Even with consent, you may not roleplay RAPE.

• Do not harass a player who declines to RP out intimate scenes.

Breaking any of these rules will result in a ban.
