Teaching in Shadows of Isildur is handled via appropriate roleplay between player characters (PCs). Logs of these roleplay sessions are submitted to staff at: Staff@middle-earth.us for review. Please give a reasonable amount of lessons before attempting to code-teach the player. Some skills, like fighting, can be learned without lessons and the TEACH command. These, you can reasonably do every other lesson. But please be realistic, as well as complete in instruction. Complex skills will obviously be looked at a bit harder.

Teaching in Shadows of Isildur is like all code intended to support a roleplay rich environment. Teaching is therefore, expected to be focused on roleplay between a teacher and student(s) in which all parties are actively engaged and participating. Ask questions, make mistakes, clarify assumptions. It's a way for knowledgeable crafters and scholars to help bring their art away from code and live into the world. It's a way for people who might not participate in the "bigger badder" things in life to show off their roleplay ability both to other players and to staff (for consideration of RPP among other things.)
