Suicide

Shadows of Isildur; Laketown does not permit Players to commit suicide for their characters. It is more often than not used by the Player to escape RP, to cover up dissatisfaction with a scene, with stats, with skills, etc. We offer a healthy Retirement option for you, please see Help Retirement.

Suicide can be part of a backstory and may be discussed in-game as a real occurrence but please, be respectful that it may be difficult for other Players to find casual conversation of such a hard and emotional topic as enjoyable.

Please note: if you, as a Player, are feeling suicidal, please do not attempt to RP suicide or play a suicidal character. Please seek immediate assistance from a local help line or your nearest Emergency Room.
